This presentation will include examples on the integration of design data into the BIM construction process and how this data evolves and ultimately combines with cost, scheduling, fabrication and logistical data and ultimately the impact it has on the field for execution. Specific value points will include, contract delivery methods and their effect on BIM (IPD), cost and scheduling analysis from a BIM Model, sub contractor integration, and sustainability analysis from a BIM Model.

Jeff Larrick, AIA, LEED AP, is a Registered Architect, LEED Accredited Professional, and Licensed General Contractor. Jeff has been involved in the AEC industry for over 15 years and his current role is as the AEC Territory Manager for the Mid-Atlantic US for Autodesk. Prior to this Jeff worked with the business development group at Autodesk focusing his efforts on the construction space. Jeff’s industry experience is varied and includes work on both the AEC technology side, including working with Graphisoft and Bentley Systems, as well as industry experience. Industry experience includes owning his own design build firm in Florida, specializing in residential and light commercial construction, working with a large multi-disciplinary firm in the late 1990’s on their migration to a 3D workflow and working with a large design-build company on the creation of an integrated modeling/cost estimating workflow. Jeff’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and Master’s Degrees in Architecture, Urban Planning, and Computer Information Systems. Jeff currently lives in West Palm Beach, Florida.
